Any reasonably intelligent person knows the conferences deliberately match up teams that will generate more revenue. Plus, for every victim of poor officiating is a beneficiary of poor officiating. Integrity, sportsmanship and fairness are all peripheral when contending with money. My advice, don’t write the SEC because they can care less as long as they get rich, write your Congressman. Just look, the Justice Department is finally starting to put the clamps down so thats where I would direct my anger.

No question he did it on purpose, and no question he should have come clean and spoke out about it immediately after the play. With the ubiquity of video and cell phones, he had to have known this play would be replayed over an over and that his character would be attacked. He has tried since to backpedal and call for a replay of the game, but it is too late

Henry is a disgrace, it was no mistake and I hope it follows him to the world cup and that true soccer fans let him know that no matter how skillful he is ,he’s still a cheat.I for one will never forget what he did.

LSU had some bad plays on the feild, but the loses to florida and bama…..well i think they were robbed.

I don’t like Florida nor Meyers BUT the officiating in the SEC is the worst I’ve ever seen in over 50 years of watching college football. They penalize offensive players for exuberent celebration but when a defensive end sacks the QB and celebrates the flags stay in their pockets. Why should the defense be held to different standards than the offense?? No wonder some folks believe college football in the SEC is fixed. It is and the referees control the point spread however the league dictates.

Slive and the officials must be in concert and without any serious standards for even as a dispassionate viewer of good football I watched in awe at the very partial calls and no-calls in the Ala v LSU foorball game. You are obviously in favor of bringing Ala and Fl to the playoff game regardless of their play … what a knock on the SEC … Who said it was the best football in the land?

Tennesse coach Layne Kiffin has been reprimanded again by SEC Commissioner Mike Slive for questioning why Alamaba’s Terrance Cody wasn’t penalized. Instead of offering up an answer to Kiffin’s question, Slive penalized him, which to me suggests he wants all talk of bad SEC officiating silenced and swept under the rug. Which then begs the question, why does Mike Slive think should have been or not have been called?

You know the next time you do a blog about someone giving Alabama anything you might want to stop listening to Gary Danielson for your information. Like RJ said, if they did throw a flag it would have been a dead ball personal foul on Cody. It is not like a holding call, pass interfierance call, or any other call during the play. It would have been Bama’s ball with a 15 yard penalty. Gary Danielson has already came out and said he was wrong and did not know what he was talking about. For you to go off what some dumb announcer says and not research before you post a blog makes you look like a moron.
