“Do not put pressure on the referees to make the correct call” No joke, these words came from Hubie Brown’s mouth after a blown out-of-bounds call on a key jump ball in a 2-point game with 3 minutes to go in tonight’s entertaining Lakers-Suns game in Phoenix. After last year’s disaster, you’d expect better officiating from NBA referees, but it isn’t happening. Refs are missing calls, blowing calls and generally looking around for help from other the other guys. The NBA logo featuring Jerry West should be switched to a siloutette of an official shrugging with his palms facing upward.Coach D’Antoni should be given a humanitarian award for not slugging someone after this call…I know I would have.
